A live implementation workshop for Texas entrepreneurs.

You'll leave with:

  • Pre-event Texas business name availability screening
  • Texas LLC submitted
  • EIN application completed
  • Domain secured
  • Professional business email configured
  • 90-day action plan completed
  • Business banking checklist in hand

At checkout you'll enter your top business name candidates — they don't need to be final, just your best options. Before the workshop we screen them against Texas state records and help you settle on the name you'll file. To complete formation during the session, you'll need a name selected by workshop day. Stuck on names? Book a free 15-minute fit call and we'll narrow your options before the session.

The Outcome

  • Texas LLC submitted with the Secretary of State
  • EIN application completed with the IRS
  • Business domain purchased and configured
  • Professional business email configured
  • 90-day action plan completed

Before the Session

Your name is screened before you arrive

A business name is the one thing that stalls a formation day — so we handle it before the session. When you register, you'll submit your top three business name choices. Before the workshop, we screen each against Texas state records and identify which name appears available based on preliminary state-record screening, so you walk in ready to file — not ready to brainstorm.

If your first choice appears taken, we'll flag it early and help you pivot to your second choice or a close variant before the session.

This is a preliminary availability screening against Texas state records — not a trademark search or legal name clearance. Final name approval always rests with the Texas Secretary of State at filing.

Our Completion Commitment

If you complete the required pre-work and do not leave with your LLC filing submitted and EIN application completed, we'll work with you directly to finish the process.

FAQ

Common questions

What is included?+

A full-day live virtual implementation session, step-by-step guidance through every filing and setup, your 90-day action plan, the business banking checklist, and the government readiness roadmap. You leave with the work done, not a to-do list.

Are filing fees included?+

No. Texas filing and setup fees (roughly $300 for the LLC filing and ~$15 for a domain) are paid by you, directly to the State of Texas and your domain registrar. We never handle your filing money — you pay the state, not us.

What do I need to bring?+

A laptop with internet access, a government-issued ID, your Social Security Number (for the EIN application — entered by you directly on the IRS site, never shared with us), business name ideas, and a credit or debit card for the state filing fee and domain.

What if I haven't picked a business name?+

You'll submit three name choices when you register, and we screen them against the Texas registry before the session. If you're truly stuck, book a free 15-minute fit call and we'll triage your name options before workshop day.

What happens with my business name choices at checkout?+

At checkout you'll enter your top business name candidates — they don't need to be final, just your best options. Before the workshop we screen them against Texas state records and help you settle on the name you'll file. To complete formation during the session, you'll need a name selected by workshop day. Stuck on names? Book a free 15-minute fit call and we'll narrow your options before the session.

Do I need prior business experience?+

No. The workshop is designed for first-time founders. Every step is done together, in order, with plain-language explanations.

Is this legal advice?+

No. We provide structured implementation guidance for standard formation processes. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal, tax, or financial advice. Complex situations (partnerships, investors, special tax elections) may warrant consulting an attorney or CPA.

Is the session recorded?+

Group instruction segments may be recorded for quality purposes. Individual work — anything involving your personal information — is never recorded or stored.

What happens if I cannot attend?+

Contact us before the session and we'll move you to the next available date at no charge.

Meet Your Facilitator

Michael is a University of Texas at Austin graduate who has worked across entrepreneurship programs, business formation, and government registration — the exact processes you'll complete in this workshop.

He built LaunchReady Texas because Texans don't lack information; they lack a dedicated day to get it done. Workshops are capped at 8 seats and personally facilitated, so no one gets stuck.
